Abstract

Billiard is one of many growing businesses in Semarang, in Indonesia they are stigma about billiard that affecting in business based on billiards. This stigma consider challenge and what people says about the stigma, we need to avoid it to having most of prospect in billiard business. Research about this stigma is needed, caused by the writer want to open billiard center in Semarang. This stigma is limitation to how to open billiard center. We use qualitative data based from Kingdom billiard in Semarang to give correlation about the stigma and business base by billiard. We also use data from research that had been done in Banjarmasin. Our data is from customers of Kingdom billiard and the owner. Our research indicate that stigma still happen and our research about billiard in Indonesia is a potential business. Contrary of what people assume about billiard, the business is growing rapidly and more tournament held by governor.
