Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepercayaan diri dengan kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan negatif antara kepercayaan diri dengan kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja pada siswa SMK. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 69 siswa SMK kelas XI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik insidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala, yaitu Skala Kepercayaan Diri dan Skala Kecemasan Menghadapi Dunia Kerja. Hasil analisis data dengan teknik korelasi Product Moment diperoleh hasil sebesar rxy = - 0,300 dengan p<0,01, yang berarti ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri dengan kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri maka semakin rendah kecemasan menghadapi dunia kerja dan sebaliknya
