Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between coach leadership and resilience of adolescent badminton athletes in Djarum Badminton Club Kudus. The hypothesis in this research state that there is a positive relationship between the coach leadership with resilience of adolescent badminton athletes. The subjects of this research is badminton athletes with aged 12-17 y.o., actively practicing at Djarum Badminton Club, and living in Djarum Badminton Club dormitories. The subjects of this research is 55 athletes. Data were collected by The Athlete Resilience Scale and The Coach Leadership Scale which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used are assumptions test with normality test and liniarity test, and the hypotheses test using product moment correlation analysis. The correlation coefficient value (rxy) in this study is 0.501 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.01). This show that the research hypothesis is accepted and states that there is a very significant positive relationship between coach leadership with resilience of badminton athletes in Djarum Badminton Club Kudus.
