Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh efek framing dalam perilaku pengambilan keputusan investasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen within subject dengan melibatkan 140 mahasiswa S1 jurusan Akuntansi Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata Semarang. Instrumen terdiri dari satu kasus yang disajikan namun disajikan dua bentuk yang berbeda dalam respon pengambilan keputusannya yaitu bentuk positif dan negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengambil keputusan cenderung memilih pilihan yang beresiko jika informasi akuntansi disajikan baik dalam bentuk positif maupun negatif. Hal ini berarti bahwa efek framing tidak mempengaruhi perilaku pengambilan keputusan. Kata kunci: Efek Framing (Framing Effect), keputusan investasi, perilaku pengambilan investasi.
