Abstract

This research is an improvement and review of the implementation of work health and safety programs that have been implemented. In addition, it can also be an option for companies to increase work accident rates and increase the number of employees in the work program to improve health and safety. Program for the success of occupational health and safety that has been running in the company This research was conducted at PT. DAMAITEX with 2 samples of respondents representing companies and 60 samples of company respondents. Methods of data collection using interviews, open and closed questionnaires, and quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results of the research can be concluded that all the work health and safety programs at PT.DAMAITEX have been carried out well and successfully. This can reduce the level of workplace accidents that occur at PT. DAMAITEX in every year starting from 2015 - 2017. The efforts made by the company to carry out occupational health and safety programs are by providing K3 regulation programs, K3 standard operating procedures, K3 installation templates, K3 socialization, K3 training, Occupational Safety and Safety, personal protective equipment, providing monitoring, polyclinics and medical personnel, facilities health support, and special approval. To run all of these programs there needs to be a person in charge of every program that has been implemented in the company. Efforts made by employees through closed questionnaires, employees have known the existence of a work program for health and safety work carried out by the company.
