Abstract

Motivation is important in language learning. The aim of this research is to find out kinds and level of motivation that Englishpreneurship and English Literature students have, namely instrumental and integrative motivation. This research used quantitative method. To obtain the data, the researcher distributed the questionnaire to 42 Englishpreneurship and 59 English Literature students batch 2016-2017. The questionnaire used is closed-ended questionnaire with 5 choices, Strongly Disagree, Disagree, Neutral, Agree and Strongly Agree. The findings of this research indicate that Englishpreneurship and English Literature students are in the moderate level of instrumental motivation and in the high level of integrative motivation. For instrumental motivation, Englishpreneurship students are in the higher position and for integrative English Literature students are in the higher position.
