Abstract
In this study, the writer analyzed the influence of Korean Pop (K-Pop) drama on die-hard fans in FLA-SCU. This research is in the field of literature, especially pop culture, because Korean wave has spread out around the word, including Indonesia. The respondents of this study were some students from Faculty of Language and Arts (FLA) batch 2014. This study used qualitative method, through interviews. The writer also collected data from some trusty journal, book, article, and other sources. The purposes of this study were to explain the influence of Korean Pop (K-Pop) Drama on diehard fans in FLA at Soegijapranata Catholic University (SCU), to prove the existence of Korean Wave especially Korean drama in the viewer‟s daily lives, to describe the influence of Korean Drama to students who like watching Korean drama, and to explain the students‟ reasons for watching Korean drama. The interview showed that: 1) all students watch more than 6 titles of Korean drama, 2) the reason students liked to watch Korean drama were because of the plot, the actor or the actress, the idol, and the act, 3) students imitated Korean style of hair style (hair-cut, hair color), shoes style, clothing style, make up and skincare, bag, and smartphone.
