Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan nomophobia pada dewasa awal di Semarang. Hipotesis pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara kontrol diri dengan nomophobia pada dewasa awal di Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah dewasa awal usia 18 – 24 tahun di Semarang. Metode pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan Google Form dalam pengambilan data. Skala kontrol diri disusun menggunakan aspek-aspek kontrol diri dan skala nomophobia disusun menggunakan dimensi nomophobia. Uji korelasi dilakukan dengan teknik non- parametric dari Spearman yang menghasilkan angka rho = -0,090 dengan nilai p = 0,364 (> 0,05) dapat diartikan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kontrol diri dengan nomophobia, maka dari hasil ini disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis ditolak.
