Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan gadget dengan prestasi belajar. Peneliti mengajukan hipotesis yaitu ada hubungan negatif antara intensitas penggunaan gadget dengan prestasi belajar. Subjek yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi di SMP Maria Mediatrix dengan jumlah 226 responden. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan data penelitian ini adalah cluster random sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson. Hasil Penelitian dapat dilihat dari nilai rx = 0,055 (p > 0.05) yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan gadget terhadap prestasi belajar.
