Abstract

Enhancement of society population in Semarang City is directly proportional to the increase of Minimarkets and Malls in Semarang City, like an Indomaret, Alfamart, Superindo, Giant, Minimarket, Mall and others. However, because there are too many Minimarkets and Malls in Semarang, Sometimes makes some people feels dificult to find the nearest Minimarket and Mall. For this reason, a literature study will be carried out to obtain appropriate application design data so that it can produce a Minimarket and Mall Location Search Application design that can function properly so that it can make it easier for users to search and find the location of the nearest minimarket and mall. The application development method used to conduct research is the waterfall. The waterfall method starts from system analysis, application design, coding, application testing, and program implementation. Followed by application testing and data collection by distributing questionnaires to people of various ages in the city of Semarang as many as 50 respondents. From the test results show that the desire to use the application (BI) has a correlation with the perception of interesting app (Mn), easy to use (Md), and provides usability (Mk) perceived by the user
