Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of perceptions of the benefits of debit cards on student consumptive behavior and the effect of perceptions of the benefits of e-money on student consumptive behavior. In this study, the sampling technique was purposive sampling method. This study has a type of quantitative data and obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents namely Accounting Students of Unika Soegijapranata Semarang. Researchers obtained data through primary data sources from the answers of accounting students Soegijaprata Semarang who were willing to fill the questionnaire. The sample are students of accounting department Unika Soegijapranata class 2015-2018. The technique used for sampling is purposive sampling, which is done by sampling according to predetermined criteria Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis. The conclusions of this study are: (1) There is an influence of the perception of the benefits of debit cards on student consumptive behavior. The higher the perception of the benefits of debit cards will enhance student consumptive behavior. (2) There is an influence of the perception of the benefits of e-money on student consumptive behavior. The higher the perception of the benefits of e-money will enhance student consumptive behavior.
