Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of budget-based incentive compensation schemes have a positive effect on trust in superiors, knowing the effect of budget-based incentive compensation schemes has a positive effect on organizational commitment, knowing the effect of trust on superiors has a positive effect on organizational commitment, knowing the effect of trust on superiors has a positive effect on performance, knowing the influence of organizational commitment has a positive effect on performance, and knowing the effect of budget-based incentive compensation schemes has a positive effect on performance. This study uses a simple random method (in taking the population in the study). The minimum sample of Semarang city hotel managers and middle managers is 93 respondents. The conclusion of this study is that budget-based incentive compensation schemes have a positive effect on trust in superiors, incentive-based compensation schemes budget has a positive effect on commitment, trust in superiors has a positive effect on organizational commitment, trust in superiors has a positive effect on performance, organizational commitment has a positive effect on performance, and a budgetbased incentive compensation scheme has a positive effect on performance. And this research has succeeded in increasing the external validity of previous research conducted by Chong and Law (2016).whose research can be generalized in other population times. In this study carried out on the middle manager, assistant manager and fisrt line manager (middle manager, manager, assistant manager, supervisor / supervisor) in hotels in the city of Semarang ‘Keywords: Compensation, Trust, Commitment, and Performance
