Abstract
Organizations need qualified employees who are willing to work outside their main duties, which is call organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). OCB in the workplace is considered important for organizational survival to increase performance and productivity. This research is a literature review study. The purpose of reviewing the literature on OCB is to provide a review of OCB research in Indonesia and to provide a more comprehensive understanding of various aspects of the OCB construct based on the dimensions of the results of previous studies. This literature review was conducted on articles examining OCB in Indonesia in the last five years. Articles are obtained through online journal databases, article searches are adjusted to the criteria; (1) the research was conducted from 2017 to 2022; (2) OCB research was conducted in Indonesia; (3) the article was entered into a accredited national journal when it was published, namely Sinta 1 to Sinta 4. Based on the results of the review, it shows that the majority of OCB research in Indonesia uses research methods in the form of a scale adapted from Organ theory with five dimensions, namely: altruism, courtesy, sportsmanship, civic virtue, and conscientiousness. The implications for further OCB research require a study of OCB assessment standards in companies so that OCB assessments can be differentiated from other types of work.
