Abstract

The objective of this research is to design a series of applications of computer-based accounting information system in accordance with the business Stationary Stores So that can help store owners in performing the daily operational activities. In making this prototype system, applications used are Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 that operates on Windows with Microsoft applications is supported as a central MySQL database. This research found that a series of computer-based accounting information system that stores each business transaction in the database, thereby reducing the risk of loss of records of transactions and can generate reports of purchase, sales, income statement and balance sheet in detail and complete
