Abstract
This study aims to empirically examine the relation between profit-loss consideration using condom and the feeling threatened by HIV/AIDS with condom use in male adolescent. The sampling is using population studies and the number of samples used by 30 people. The major hypothesis proposed is relation between profit-loss consideration using condom and feeling threatened by HIV/AIDS with condom use in male adolescents. The first minor hypothesis is that there is a positive relation between profit-loss consideration using condom and condom use in male adolescent and the second minor hypothesis is the positive relation between feeling threatened by HIV/AIDS and condom use in male adolescent. Measurements are made using the scale of condom use in male adolescent, profit-loss consideration using condom and feeling threatened by HIV/AIDS. The result of the calculation is R = 0,656 and F = 10,195 (p <0,01) indicating that the major hypothesis is accepted. The result of the calculation of the first minor hypothesis is the correlation r = 0,648 (p <0,01), then the first minor hypothesis is accepted. The result of calculating the second minor hypothesis is the correlation r = 0,617 (p <0,01), then the second minor hypothesis is accepted. The results of this study made an effective contribution of 38,8%. Keywords: Profit-Loss Consideration Using Condom, Feeling Threatened by HIV/AIDS, and Condom Use in Male Adolescent.
