Abstract
important device to create a computing network as a send of data packets (local) or data (internet). Currently the price of expensive router device, making it difficuilt to buy a reliable router device. To solve this problem by creating a Linux centos for the router(iptables) using a pc, by adding iptables configurations for the router can run well. With the iptables configuration has been entered into the router, so that incoming data packets will be filtered before it came out. Expected to make the pc the router of course with additional configuration of iptables and with low price. To make the pc into a router that can be deployed by doing a few steps:1. Install the OS as a system, the configuration of the NIC 1 and NIC 2 configuration iptables. Pc routers can make the solution to build a cheap and reliable computer network. Whit the function of the router (iptables) then the process of use in restricting the internet, site blocking, limiting the speed ot the interned used. Keyword: Router, Iptables iv
