Abstract

The aim of this study was to find out the relation between violent online games addiction with adolescent aggression. The hypothesis in this study is “there is a positive relation between violent online games addiction with adolescent aggression The subject of this study is a teenagers between the ages of 12-21 in total of 40 people. This is a quantitative study which use Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire and Game Addiction Scale for Adolescents as a measuring instrument. This study uses product moment correlation analysis techniques. The analysis of product moment showed that rxy = 0,573 (p<0,01)which means violent online games addiction contains a very significant relation with adolescence aggression. Based on the result of this study it can be concluded if the hypothesis in this study submitted by researcher accepted. Key Word: Online Game Addiction, Aggression, Adolescent.
