Abstract
studi ini berisi tentang analisis teori pre-sequences dan politeness strategies yang dilakukan oleh waria kepada tamunya ketika melakukan permintaan. subyek yang digunakan adalah waria yang bekerja di tempat portitusi tanggul indah majapahit. data diperoleh dari rekaman percakapan yang dilakukan oleh waria kepada tamunya. Tamu dalam hal ini adalah orang yang biasa menggunakan jasa waria. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dalam studi ini menunjukkan bawah pada dasarnya tidak semua waria telah mengaplikasikan konsep pre-sequences ketika mereka mengekspresikan permintaan kepada orang lain.
