Abstract

BiOS is a web-based open source billing application, which is made specially for Linux based computer. This application use the Apache or Lighttpd for a webserver, Php as an application interface, and MySql as the database . BiOS use a Client-Server concept. Client can monitor the duration of usage and it costs via a webbrowser. And the operator can monitor the cost to be paid by the client, start, stop and reset the client’s billing, making daily and monthly reports, includes printing bills for a customers. Later this application can be developed into a volume based billing.
