Abstract

Schooltool is an open source application that is addressed school in developing countries where these applications allow a user to process the data, enter data, or data output with a very easy to learn. Input data in this paper in question is the input data in the form of students, teachers, grades, academic calendar, with a wide choice of input data that can be used for example to enter the data of our students are given the option can be input manually or we can be a csv file input. At this schooltool applications there are also some process that is already provided by these applications without us having to process it manually. For the process itself we will know in a few menus in the application instance on the menu gradebook, in this menu we will know the process of how to determine the average value, and the value of the students can be converted into letters, pass or fail, and the other menus are already available. For the output of these applications is the input value, absent, detail demographics of students and teachers in the form of several files are provided, depending on what output is provided. Schooltool output file of the application is in the form of pdf and xls files. For some of the files in the form of complete data report student is in the form of a pdf file, for output absent, value, and the other is in the form of xls file.
