Abstract
Abstract: “The Alchemist” is one of the great novels of Paulo Coelho’s. It is a novel that contains dreams, symbols, signs, and adventures. They are the echo of ancient wise voices. The novel is the tale of Santiago, an Andalucian shepherd boy who has a dream and the courage to follow his dream. Santiago ventures from his homeland Spain to North Africa in search of a treasure buried in the Pyramids in Egypt. By following his dreams, the symbols and signs given during the adventure, Santiago finally can find his personal myth.
