Abstract

Peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel Self-Efficacy, dan Outcome Expectations Terhadap Goals mahasiswa untuk menjadi CPA dengan variabel Gender sebagai variabel moderasi dengan menggunakan Teori Kognitif Sosial. Peneliti menemukan sebuah permasalahan bahwa dikatakan Gender mempengaruhi tingkat Self-efficacy seseorang dalam memutuskan Goals atau karir mereka sehingga peneliti ingin menguji pengaruh variabel Gender sebagai variabel moderasi terhadap variabel Self-Efficacy dan Outcome Expectations sebagai variabel independen dan variabel Goals sebagai variabel dependen. Penelitian menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah populasi 2.730 populasi dan jumlah sampel 97 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa akuntansi S1 angkatan 2016 di seluruh universitas kota Semarang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Self-Efficacy, dan Outcome Expectations berpengaruh positif dengan Goals mahasiswa untuk menjadi CPA, variabel Self-Efficacy berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel Outcome Expectations, tetapi variabel Self-Efficacy tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap Goals mahasiswa untuk menjadi CPA dengan Gender sebagai variabel moderasi.
