Abstract
Health development is an effort carried out by all components of the nation to increase awareness, willingness and ability to live healthy. Midwifery services are services that cannot be separated from the health care system. Midwives have a role in providing adolescent reproductive health services such as communicators, informers, educators, counselors and the role of midwives in medical clinical services. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of puskesmas midwives in implementing PP No 61 of 2014 concerning reproductive health in the activities of the youth reproductive health counseling information center (PIK-KRR) for students in Widyapraja Vocational School Semarang District. This research is a sociological juridical study with descriptive analytic research specifications. This study uses primary and secondary data. Methods of primary data collection through interviews with respondents and resource persons. Respondents consisted of 6 people, one puskesmas midwife, one independent practice midwife, one headmaster, one BP teacher, one student assistant and one student. Secondary data is obtained through literature studies which are then analyzed qualitatively. The implementation of the role of puskesmas midwives in the PIK-KRR activities has not been carried out thoroughly. The role as a counselor and medical clinical services has not been carried out thoroughly. Students are still having difficulty counseling when they need to because they have to visit a health center, and midwives do not provide clinical services when conducting counseling when students experience reproductive health problems. The supporting factor is the health screening of reproductive organs from the puskesmas, while the inhibiting factor is the number of health workers who are still lacking, there is no curriculum on reproductive health and the unclear schedule of reproductive health education.
