Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between father‟s social support and mother‟s parenting stress of pre-school children. The hypothesis of this research was there is negative relationship between father‟s social support and mother‟s parenting stress of pre-school children. This research was designed using quantitative approach. This research conducted in KB/TK Beta Surakarta and collected from 64 mothers of pre-school children. Two scales of Father‟s Social Support and Mother‟s Parenting Stress Of Pre-School Children were used to collect data. The result of this research showed that there is negative relationship between father‟s social support and mother‟s parenting stress of pre-school children (rxy = -0,498, p<0,01).
