Abstract
The effect of company size, company age, current ratio, debt to asset ratio, and good corporate governance on return on assets in companies listed on the Kompas 100 Index 2017 year This study aims to examine the effect of company size, company age, current ratio, debt to asset ratio, and good corporate governance to return on assets (ROA). The sample of this study are companies that registered in the Kompas 100 Index 2017 year. The mounts of sample in this study is 63 companies which were determined based on the purposive sampling method. Data analysis in this study was carried out by classical assumption test and hypothesis testing for multiple linear regression, t statistical test, and goodness of fit model. The conclusion of this studi is company size, company age, current ratio, board of directors, and audit committee partially have no effect on ROA. Independent commissioners influence ROA at alpha 5% and debt to asset ratio influence ROA at alpha 10%. While the results of the tests simultaneously, the seven independent variables affect ROA.
