Abstract

The event for the selection of tourist ambassadors as a means of developing potential talents, creativity, intelligence of the younger generation to become figures who can play a role in promoting the wealth of art, culture and tourism. The Semarang City Culture and Tourism Office held a selection to find the best sons and daughters in accordance with predetermined criteria. So this study aims to design an assessment of the selection of Semarang City Tourism Ambassadors candidates using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method as a method that functions to get priority that has superior abilities such as fulfilling the criteria set by the jury in each prospective Tourism Ambassadors in terms of skills, knowledge and attitude.
