Abstract

Now smartphone is one of the needs to do activities. Phonebook is a permanent application on every cellphone and smartphone is always there and is used for daily needs. Everyone can store data into a phonebook, but most people don't have a cellphone number listed on their phonebook, when the cellphone is lost or damaged so the contact data is lost. In this project a Phonebook application was created which integrated with the API from Google Contacts. Only need to have a google account then all contacts in the device are synchronized through the google account. After testing the application, the Google API can be accessed for both mobile and web applications. It can be concluded that the Google API contacts can be used to store all contacts and contacts that have been previously on the handphone will be read and applied.
