Abstract

Investasi teknologi infomasi merupakan penanaman modal yang dilakukan perusahaan dapat berupa peralatan, aplikasi, layanan, dan teknologi dasar termasuk biaya pengadaan komputer, komunikasi, software, jaringan serta orang yang mengoperasikan dan mengatur manajemen sistem informasi. Investasi teknologi informasi memberikan kontribusi terhadap produktivitas dan profitabilitas. Maka atas uraian itu, penelitian ini menguji fenomena ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan data perusahaan perbankan go public yang melakukan investasi teknologi dengan data yang didapat di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2010-2012. Hasilnya ditemukan bahwa investasi dalam teknologi informasi secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas dan profitabilitas.
