Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of communication apprehension and ambiguity tolerance to the learning style of accounting students in Semarang. The population in this study are accounting students in Semarang which amounted to 10107 students and the sample is at least 99 students in Semarang. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of personally distributed questionnaires. The study used Partial Least Square (PLS) for statistical value calculations, as statistical programs that assist in calculating the statistical value of all data that has been obtained. The result of this research is there is influence between communication apprehension to learning style competitive, learning style collaborative, learning style participant, learning style dependent, learning style independent, no influence between communication apprehension to learning style avoidant, there is influence between ambiguity tolerance to learning style competitive style, learning style avoidant, learning style participant, learning style dependent, independent learning style, no ambiguity tolerance to learning style collaborative, no influence between communication apprehension to ambiguity tolerance.
