Abstract
This research is made at CV Dalang Production Event and Wedding Organizer. CV Dalang Production Event and Wedding Organizer specialize on arrange event and wedding services. The company does not have special system on their accountancy information, everything are done manually and there are not computerize data processing so there are no financial statements as an output report. The research was done and adapted based on company necessity to create an accountancy information system that was extended using Rapid Application Development method. The researcher expected by using this system it will help the company to process their business activities start from note the transaction, count the transactions and to create a financial report so it will help the company’s business to calculate the value of the company and to optimize the company’s profit from business activity. The data that got from the company are qualitative data and quantitative data, interview, observation, and documentations are used to collect the data. Interview was done directly with the owner of the company, observation was done by visited the company to see the company’s activities, and for documentation the researcher got the data from the company. All the data that will support for the application of Rapid Application Development method based on the company’s necessity. There are several stages to do the research, start with the investigation stage, company’s necessity analysis stage, resolution analysis stage, design establishment stage, construction stage, implementation stage, socialization stage, operationalization stage, and supporting system. Key word : Information System Design, Financial Statement, Rapid Application Development Method.
