Abstract

Sistem informasi akuntansi sangatlah penting dan berperan bagi perusahaan dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya. Para pelaku bisnis mengubah sistem manual menjadi sistem informasi akuntansi berbasis computer untuk menanggulangi resiko yang ada. Toko Cat Raja Warna bergerak di bidang penjualan cat mobil. Sistem pencatatan yang dilakukan oleh Toko Cat Raja Warna masih terdapat banyak kelemahan, oleh karena itu perlu adanya penerapan software K-System dengan metode COTS ( Commercial Off-The-Shelf Package Software ). Software K-System memiliki berbagai kelebihan yaitu user friendly, program telah terintegrassi, mudah pengoperasiannya, tingkat keamanan cukup baik karena menggunakan password, tidak hanya password tapi juga bisa dilakukan pembatasan akses masing-masing fungsi, memiliki kapasitas data base yang besar sehingga memudahkan dalam proses pengecekan data dan laporan akutansi akan lebih akurat. Dengan penggunaan software K-system ini, diharapkan usaha Toko Cat Raja Warna dapat memberikan kemudahan, ketepatan perhitungan, ketelitian, kecepatan memproses data, dan memperkecil kesalahan.
