Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara empirik hubungan antara self efficacy dengan stres akademik pada siswa akselerasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa kelas XI yang berada di kelas akselerasi pada SMA N 1 Semarang dan 10 siswa kelas XI yang berada di kelas akselerasi pada SMA YSKI Semarang. Self efficacy diungkap melalui skala self efficacy dan stres akademik diungkap melalui skala stres akademik. Hasil analisis data didapat bahwa uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment menemukan rxy = -0,594 dengan p<0,01. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara self efficacy dengan stres akademik. Sumbangan efektif self efficacy terhadap stres akademik sebesar 35,2%.
