Abstract
Understanding media can vary among individuals, depending on their ability to interpret the meaning of signs. The study of these signs and their meanings falls under the field of Semiotics. Charles Sanders Peirce's Semiotic Theory explains that semiotics is the study of signs, where everything that humans think or express is conveyed through signs. Peirce's Semiotic Theory categorizes signs into three components: Representamen, Object, and Interpretant. This study was conducted through a systematic process involving observation, interviews, and literature review. The observation was carried out by capturing screenshots of three posters from GNEWS during a live-streamed worship service on YouTube. The research findings reveal that the congregation's understanding of GNEWS in the worship activities at GBI Gajah Mada Semarang, as represented in the posters Revival @Home, Rumah Doa, and Sega Kids, reflects profound meanings embedded within each design element, based on Charles Peirce's Semiotic Theory. The Revival @Home, Rumah Doa, and Sega Kids posters are rich with symbols that invite the congregation to experience God's presence through various forms of worship, such as prayer, praise, and hope. Each visual element and textual component plays a crucial role in delivering a strong spiritual message, encouraging the congregation to engage more deeply in fellowship and spiritual revival.
