Abstract

This report highlights the writer’s internship experience at Chalk and Talk (C&T), a multilingual language course unit managed by the YSKI Foundation in Semarang. The internship, part of the Englishpreneurship program at Soegijapranata Catholic University, took place from August 5 to December 20, 2024, and focused on the digital marketing division to enhance practical knowledge and professional skills. The program provided the writer with an opportunity to bridge theoretical learning with real-world applications, particularly in promoting foreign language services via social media platforms. The writer gained extensive experience in digital marketing techniques, including content creation, market analysis, and performance tracking. While facing challenges such as meeting client demands, adapting to evolving social media algorithms, and competing in a fast-paced digital market, the internship also fostered growth, creativity, and collaboration. There several tasks that have been faced by the writer during the internship such as designing marketing strategies for social media in posts as well as informative and educational content, the writer also helped become a teaching assistant, the writer also made several designs for ID cards, Flyer, promotional materials for an event, and the writer also participated in YSKI activities.
