Abstract

The background to this research is based on public relations (public relations) which is important in government. Public relations has its own role, namely carrying out public communication in carrying out government public policies in providing public information through websites or directly. Uploading information is currently done via the site. Therefore, the aim of this research is to find out how the public relations function is implemented based on Permenpan and RB No. 30 of 2011, in providing information related to public information through the Central Maluku Regency Diskominfo website. This type of research method uses descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The formulation of the research problem is how to implement the public relations function on the Diskominfo website as a public information medium in the Diskominfo Central Maluku Regency. Based on the results and discussions, observations and documentation, it was found that the Central Maluku Regency Diskominfo had carried out the public relations function on the diskominfo.maltengkab.go.id site completely and in accordance with Permenpan & RB No. 30 of 2011. Related to the first to fourth functions of public relations in providing public information, namely information immediately, at any time, periodically and exempted. The conclusion of this research is that the Central Maluku Regency Diskominfo has implemented the first to fourth functions related to uploads on the diskominfo.maltengkab.go.id site. Diskominfo Central Maluku Regency has also carried out the dissemination of public information by providing information immediately, at any time, periodically and with exceptions which is uploaded via the site diskominfo.maltengkab.go.id.
