Abstract

The ongoing Covid-19 outbreak that took a heavy toll in such a short period of time has changed the lifestyle of all of us the rest of the world. This is a warning in our lives to maintain our health so as not to contract this virus and also other viruses that kill all living things. The number of Covid-19 cases. Always soars in Indonesia and overseas until high-ranking Indonesian officials and the United Nations must intervene to make policies to reduce this spread. One of the policies is transportation which makes people confused. The data collection technique used is analyzing the words and sentences from the title to the closing of the news including pictures, graphs and schematics. The data taken in this study is the main news of Kompas Daily for six months from April 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020. In this study the researchers used the framing analysis method to find out how Kompas Daily framed government policy issues in dealing with COVID-19 into the headlinenews.
