Abstract

This study aims to find out students’ perceptions of the use of social media to improve writing skills. The current study is carried out with one research question as to the focus, which is to find out how students’ perceptions of using social media for improving writing skills are. The study is conducted by distributing a questionnaire to 50 students of Faculty of Language and Arts, Soegijapranata Catholic University. It is found out that students had a positive attitude towards the use of social media to improve their writing skills. The majority of students show a positive attitude and willingness to use social media to improve their writing skills
