Abstract

Abstract— Technopreneurship or techno entrepreneurship is an entrepreneurship that emphasizing the knowledge, technology, capital, innovative business concept and skill management to create a business through innovation and technology application. Educational game software development is one of the implementation of technopreneurship on education. It combines several aspects above to formulate the teachers' knowledge to be valuable games both in term of content or business aspect. A workshop on the educational game software development has been held to train 100 teachers on using the game engine and produce an educational game. The teachers have been able to create their own education games to support learning activities in the class. The interesting story of game and the embedded educational content in the game could be the advantage of the product. Therefore, the teachers should create the next game for its improvement and sustainability. Forty questionnaires have been filled by teachers from an educational foundation who have attended the workshop to see their interest to continue the development of their game. Moreover, it will describe their interest on the entrepreneurship of educational game. This paper will explain the possibility of technopreneurship development in the school using game software as the products.
