Abstract

Day-care is a growing business in Indonesia. Although to make a day-care, especially bilingual day-care, has to do much research. One of the studies is learning about parents’ perceptions of the day-care, the facility, and their expectations. This research is focusing on the perception of parents about bilingual education in a day-care. This research consists of bilingual education, day-care in general, and the perception of parents about bilingual day-care. This study aims to help the writer find out the perception of parents about bilingual education in a day-care. This research consists of the preferences of parents about what should bilingual day-care be. This research is using qualitative research, where the writer interviewed parents from many backgrounds in Semarang City. The study's result will be used as the reference of the writer to build a bilingual day-care that emphasizes bilingual education.
