Abstract

The present study aimed to reduce the parenting stress levels among mothers of children with Cerebral Palsy by empowering the individual with “Super Mom” Program. “Super Mom” Program is an adaptation of stepping stone triple p – standard program which consist of nine (9) sessions. This study used quasi experimental pre-post design. The sample comprised 8 mothers of children with CP, and they were divided into two groups, experimental (4) and control group or waiting lists (4). Quantitative pre-post measurement includes Stress Parenting Scale. This study was analyzed using Mann-Whitney U-test with gain scores. The results of the analysis Mann-Whitney U-test with gains scores showed significant increase in the experimental group compared to the control group after the program is given. The results of the analysis of pre-test and post-test U = ,000 and p = 0,021. In addition, the results of the mother problem focused coping and self efficacy in parenting also showed significant increase in the experimental group.
