Abstract

The background of this research is the increase in plastic waste because it has not been able to be dealt with maximally and the negative impact that is generated from the rest of the plastic packaging. In response, one of the well-known companies Coca-Cola, made an innovation in the "Plantbottle" packaging which claimed to be more environmentally friendly because it contains ingredients derived from plants and 100% recyclable. Responding to this, the researchers wanted to find out how the impact of PlantBottle's environmentally friendly packaging on buying interest in Coca-Cola products. The samples from this study were 30 respondents who had bought and consumed Coca-Cola beverage products. This research method is experimental with the type of One-Group Pretest-Postest Design, this is because the product that will be explained has not been marketed to Indonesia. Processing the data using SPSS 21.0 For Windows, and the results of this study indicate that there is a change in perception on the knowledge of respondents related to environmentally friendly packaging and buying interest caused by the treatment in the form of knowledge of information related to Coca-Cola Plantbottle and concluded that packaging is environmentally friendly can change someone's buying interest..
