Abstract

Computer Laboratory at Faculty of Computer Science is a facility for students to be able to practice directly after obtaining the material from the lecturer, therefore the condition of the lab should be made as comfortable as possible so that students can learn well. One of the conditions that support students in learning is calmness, which there many students using the laboratory will cause noise that can interfere with the learning process This project uses four sensors and a WiFi modules, the sensors uses on this project are the DFR-0034 analog sound sensors to measure noise levels, the dht22 temperature sensor to measure room temperature, and two IR avoid obstacle sensors to count number of student using laboratory. Sound sensor and temperature sensor are installed in the Laboratory. two IR sensors are installed at the Laboratory entrance to calculate the number of student in and out. This project uses a WiFi module ESP 8266 to transmit data from the sensor to the database. Data obtained in the form of noise level, room temperature and the number of students in the computer Laboratory. The results of this project is getting data in the form of room temperature, the number of students who use the laboratory, and the level of noise caused. The Data obtained will be stored in the database to get the average value of the noise level. Keyword: noice level, Arduino uno, proximity, lab computer, dfr-0034, dht22.
