Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between emotion-focused coping and family support with anticipatory grief in mother of child cancer patient. The researcher used quota sampling method with participants of this study are 30 mothers, who are they have know the diagnose around a year. Marwit-Meuser Caregiver Grief Inventory (short-form) scale was used to measure the anticipatory grief which prepared by Marwit & Meuser (2004). Emotion-focused coping and family support in this study were measured by scale which prepared by researcher. The results shows that hypothesis on this researce are accepted, they are 1) There is relationship among emotion-focused coping and family support with anticipatory grief in mother of children with cancer disease (R12y=-0,909, F =64,281 and p=0,000), 2) A negative relationship between emotion-focused coping and anticipatory grief in mother of children with cancer disease (r1y=-0,883 and p=0,000), 3) A negative relationship between family support and anticipatory grief in mother of children with cancer disease (r2y=-0,892 and p=0,000).
