Abstract

Saras Sehat Farmacy still uses manual (traditional) systems such as sales notebooks and drug stock records. This manual system has human error weaknesses such as inaccuracy, errors in recording and calculating drug sales, in contrast to computer systems that have more valid and accurate data. The prediction of selling pharmaceutical products with the help of a computer system can help the Saras Sehat Pharmacy in predicting the amount of stock of pharmaceutical products sold as well as the number of stock products needed. The pharmacy manager can estimate the amount of stock of pharmaceutical products needed to meet consumer needs and maintain good cooperative relations with suppliers of pharmaceutical products, judging from the results of predictions on the sale of pharmaceutical products from a particular month period. The prediction of selling pharmaceutical products uses the Single Exponential Smoothing method. There are 28 pharmaceutical products that will be predicted using the Single Exponential Smoothing algorithm with alpha from 0.1-0.9.
