Abstract

The aim of this research is to discover a corelation between religiosity and the role of parents againts premarital sexual behavior in late adolescence. The method of that used in this research is quantitative research method with 73 participants. The participants of this research are late adolescence aged 18-21 years old, they are dating and living in the boarding house without guards. Writer using 3 scales that are premarital sexual behavior scale, religiosity scale, and parent’s role scales. Writer use regression analysis with two predictor to discover the correlation between dependent and independent variables. The result of this research shows that there is a significant correlation between religiosity and the role of parents againts premarital sexual behavior in late adolescence which R12y = 0,824 and p<0,01. The other result that can be concluded is there is significant correlation between religiosity an premarital sexual behavior in late adolescence which r1y = -0,813 and p<0,01. The result also showed that there is a significant correlation between parent’s role and premarital sexual behavior which r2y = -0,763 and p<0,01. keyword: premarital sexual behavior, religiosity, the role of parents
