Abstract

System is made to count the number of a vehicle within a certain time on the tape" in a video extension "'. MPG and purpose of this system is to actually facilitate a rescdlTher in calculating the amount of a vehicle withollt the manual but only lise this SYSl l' ITI. One initial s tep is to detect veh icles in the image and then perform the segmentation of the vehicles continuous ly for tracki ng purposes. In th is paper, the preprocessing stage, as one of a research results, is described. The main method Llsed is caplure vi deo files into image files any gi ven Lime, from the image fi1es will be prOLcssed using the Graysca le and Tresholding to obtain a binary image, a bina ry image in getting make drawing a white and black (dark objects will be transformed into a black and li ght-colored object wi ll be changed to white) light-colored car then it will be ch,lIlgcci to while. After knowing the car object lO be detected is while then we set the dClL'Clion area of the most frequent object passed by a car that is while will be detected by ll sing a method which is in java mouse listener object and if there is a car thal will be in ,"" hite color detection th rough the detection area of the ca r will be detected and the count wil l be at capacity in a txt file.
