Abstract
This study aims to determine the background of the family life of three (3) children imprisoned in the Special Child Prison (Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Khusus Anak) - Kutoarjo, Central Java. The three participants have been found guilty by the court and handed over to LPKA. Interviews, House Tree & Person Tests were used for access and Observations method. The results of data processing concluded that the mischief made by children were not pure-solely the faults of the children themselves, but the contribution of nurturing that existed in the family.
