Abstract
This study focuses on the use of videos on YouTube for learning English as a foreign language. This research aims to determine the students‘ perception of using videos on YouTube as a medium to learn English. Sacha Stevenson‘s videos were used in this study. To find out the answer of the problems formulations, a quantitative method using descriptive statistics is used in this research. In order to collect the quantitative data, the writer distributed online questionnaires using Google Form to 51 students in the Faculty of Language and Arts(FLA) Soegijapranata Catholic University, Semarang, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The result reported that FLA‘s students showed a positive perception of learning English using videos. The skills that the students perceived improving are pronunciation, followed by vocabularies and grammar.
