Abstract
Scholars have done extensive research on college education and its impacts on students. Research has shown that college education and activities, both class-related and out-of-class, contributed to students’ intellectual, personal, and psychological growths. Students who reported that they were satisfied with their college education were more likely to perform better during college and become successful later in life. This study focuses on the investigation of the Faculty of Language and Arts’ alumni and their perception of college education. This study was also intended as a tracer study of the alumni. Therefore, we included some questions pertaining to personal information. This study is a quantitative study. We administered questionnaires to collect data from the alumni. To reach out-of-town alumni, we decided to use online questionnaire and posted the link in social media. The results of the study showed that alumni overwhelmingly agreed that they were satisfied with their college education. They reported that college education contributed to the improvement of reading and speaking in English. They stated that their undergraduate college experience improved their analytical thinking and interpersonal skills. In addition, the alumni stated that their extracurricular activities allowed them to practice their teamwork skills and opportunities to get involved in society.
