Abstract

Along with the times, a sense of nationalism or love of the nation and the State it self has begun to disappear. This can be seen in the rise of the use of imported products that exist in society. Loss of traditionalism in the Indonesian nation is a problem that must be addressed immediately. Batik is one of cultural Lasem inherited generations of mixing Chinese and Javanese society. Batik Lasem until recently have started fading from public circulation. Therefore, the use of traditional batik dress on her special Lasem Batik process must occur. By pressing on the use of traditional batik clothing, it will help drive the State of Indonesia to evoke a sense of nationalism its particular young adults The research method used is a qualitative method, where the method of this study more emphasis on research subjects. In the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded, that people nowadays prefer clothing that is more towards modernity. Therefore instill a sense of nationalism through batik clothing through lifestyle approaches target is expected to be the perfect solution
